I’m Diana Dionne, a Caribou native now living in the country in Androscoggin County, married to another Aroostook County transplant. A former communications professional, I now spend my days communicating (or attempting to communicate), with my identical one year old twin boys, Calvin and Abel.
I’m starting this blog because this new gig is so awesome, and so hard, and so hilarious, after a year that has been the quickest, longest, and most revealing of my life, as I’m sure any new mom would agree. What the me who dreamed of having children years ago would never has expected was the twist – that there would be two. What the me who was pregnant with twins never expected was how unique this experience would be, both for me and everyone who now encounters my matching nuggets.
So join me as I share what I have learned, what I’m learning and what I can share about this doubly great, doubly challenging time. I hope that, especially for new or expecting moms of multiples it helps to know that, despite the gawking grocery store stares, you are in good company.
